Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra S Pen users have a very big question for Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Ultra S25 comes with an S Pen through which you can draw on your phone and click photos, but Samsung has removed Bluetooth from the S25 Ultra; now this S Pen has become only a pen. You can only draw and sweeten your drawing through the button given in the pen. Let’s know why Samsung did this.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Bluetooth S Pen will not support Bluetooth interaction with the S Pen. Samsung did this because this S Pen was used a lot by Samsung, so Samsung has removed the Bluetooth support in Galaxy S5. Now you will only be able to use the pen to control the phone, and there is a side button on the pen; by pressing it, you will be able to erase your drawing.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Bluetooth S Pen changes

  1. Samsung has removed Bluetooth. You will no longer be able to command your phone via Bluetooth.
  2. By removing Bluetooth, it has become lighter because when Bluetooth was on, the S Pen used to require battery, and the phone used to feel a little heavy, but the battery has been removed; now it is just a pen, so it has become easy to hold and use.
  3. The S Pen is still useful for writing notes and drawing and giving precise input on the screen. That is, even though Bluetooth is gone, the S Pen still works just as well for writing, drawing, and doing precise work on your screen.

Why was Bluetooth removed from the Samsung Galaxy S5 Ultra?

Samsung has taken this decision keeping in mind the behavior of its users because very few people use the S Pen, and Bluetooth features like Air Actions or camera control were used very little. That is why Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra S Pen made a simple pen.

The S25 Ultra’s S Pen no longer has a battery.

The earlier Bluetooth S Pen had a small battery that needed to be charged from time to time. But now Bluetooth has been removed from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen, so now there is no need for a battery. The advantage of this is that now users do not have to worry about charging it again and again and the S Pen has become more reliable and durable. This means that now you can use it whenever you want without any interruption – whether you want to write notes or make sketches, everything will be as smooth as before.

There is no problem in using S Pen.

Despite the removal of Bluetooth, the true power of the S Pen remains intact. You can still easily write, sketch, and take pressure-sensitive inputs on the screen just like before, ensuring precision in every stroke. Samsung has taken special care to ensure that the basic and essential features – the ones that people actually use the S Pen for – are not affected. This is why, even without Bluetooth, the pen gives users full control and a great experience.

Air Actions and Remote Features will no longer be available.

Now that Bluetooth has been removed from the S Pen, some special features like remote control of the camera, changing slides during a presentation, or gesture controls like music play/pause will no longer work. This change may be a bit disappointing for users who used the S Pen specifically for these smart features, like running presentations in meetings or clicking photos without touching the phone. Now the S Pen has completely become a classic tool, with no smart connectivity.

The S Pen is now more durable

With the S Pen removing things like battery and Bluetooth, its design has become simpler and more robust than before. Now there is no worry of any kind of charging or connectivity issue, which has reduced the chances of its breakdown. In simple words, this S Pen has now become more long-lasting and reliable—less hassle, more use.

Will the S Pen Pro with Bluetooth work now?

Samsung has made it clear that the Galaxy S25 Ultra no longer supports any Bluetooth S Pen. That is, if you are thinking that you will be able to use the S Pen Pro or the Bluetooth-enabled pen of the old Galaxy Note series in it, then this is not possible. Now the S25 Ultra only works with the new non-Bluetooth S Pen that comes with it – no extra connectivity or pairing facility will be available.
