Battery and long term experience
The biggest strength of MacBook is long term performance. My 4 year old Mac is still running well. Yes, the battery gets weak but the performance never slows down. Windows shows some fatigue but Mac remains stable.

My Verdict: Should you buy it or not?
If you are an M1 user and want to upgrade after four years, then the MacBook Air M4 is a great upgrade. If you are buying a Mac for the first time, and you have to do tasks like editing, coding, and browsing, then this can be a long-term investment for you. But if you work on heavy video editing software like Premiere Pro, then a Windows PC or Mac Mini will be better.
